I bought it for my laptop, to share a WiFi connection over another WiFi connection, so I am using this adapter in SoftAP mode, which works very well. Unstable
I've tried a variety of USB wifi devices and sadly this one doesn't impress. When it's up and running it works great, I've got no issues there. My issue with this device is half the time I doesn't turn on when my PC turns on. Half the time I spend trying to get it to work! Further to my issue is it's so poorly assembled. Even the pins for the usb are poorly designed. As for high speed that's a bold statement which doesn't deliver. If you are reading this review I urge you to avoid. Fast and easy to use adapter
It is a cheap and easy to use wireless adapter which can use b, g or n protocols. It comes in a box with a small CD with simple installation instructions. Once the installation finished, I got 5/5 internet strength. I did get 4/5 signal strength for the first few hours, but it got better afterwards and hasn't dipped below 5/5. 4/5 signal strength is still good since I used to get 2/5 or 3/5 on my old wireless card, which was quite slow before. Best thing is, this device can be plugged into a different PC if I ever need to change PCs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Purchased to handle higher speed of fibre
I could not understand why my wireless speed varied to several devices and my provider and web were little help. So I spent a tenner and hay ho it worked as the PC I have used it on is now my fastest. Supplier good communicator and arrived when promised. Good transaction. Hope it keeps going.
