Super Combo
Very, very impressed with this rod. Have used it now on a number of occasions with 1 - 2 ounce feeders and bombs up to 50 m mainly on lakes so far. Super flexible with the intermediate spigot when you need more distance. Very forgiving action, very precise in casting and beautifully finished. Lovely reel seat, excellent balance and nice rod bag (once I had sorted what went where). Range of tips is as expected what you would expect. This has become my go to bream rod. It has finally replaced my Shakespeare multi tip which has been the go to for the last 26 years. The Drennan has the hook stay whipped in and this makes "parking" the rod very simple. Nothing whatsoever to take issue with. A very cost competitive buy. essentially 2 rods in one and both have proven an absolute ideal tool for each's specific use.
