I have these speakers in a fairly small room, played via an Exposure 2012 amp taking audio from a (Nakamichi 3 head) cassette player, a (Nakamichi MB-2s) CD player and a (Stanton M120) record deck; they perform really well in all these modes,especially the latter. The reproduction is clear in all and the distortion is unnoticable at low to medium volume. Bass and treble are both distinct. At the price these can be acquired on eBay, they are really fantastic value!
