Does exactly what it says a fantastic product easy to use.
I thought i would give this a try and without doubt is a fantastic product done an amazing job on my 21 year old steering wheel. Left it to dry overnight looked brand new the next day, smooth to the touch and requires no more work to it. The only problem is the cleaning sponge tends to break up after a few wipes but you can live with that when you see the end result.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Awful product!
To be honest for £15 this could be considered a scam. It is a test tube of cleaner (essentially fairy liquid) and a leather paint with some sponge. If you want to restore your steering wheel properly you need a lacquer to seal in the paint!!!This kit is pointless save your money. I have bought another kit to finish the job off. SPOON SPORTS STEERING WHEEL
I’ve just used this kit on my Momo steering wheel as it has quiet a bit sign of usage cracks, fading, rubbing etc.. and i am very pleased with the way it has turned out almost good as new! I highly recommend this to anyone looking to restore the colour / cracks / wear to their steering wheel. I can’t say how long it will hold out for as I’ve just applied it but so far so good! There is an before and after picture of my steering wheel their both the exact same steering wheel! (quiet hard to believe) only the buttons have been swapped as you can see in the last picture I still have the Momo button.

Surpassed my expectation.
Having gone through 2 steering wheels due to hot hands and long hours at the wheel I needed a repair as I was selling my car and was looking at losing money. The cleanser seemed to strip it right back which I was initially worried about. Then applied the leather pigment in layers using a hairdryer to dry as suggested. Best kit i've used
Always sceptical of kits like this, but this one is great. Wheel looks good as new now with a matt finish and doesn't rub off at all. Only con is that the cleaning sponge fell apart but other than that i'd buy it again and definately recommend it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the job!
If you don't want to spend money on buying a new steering wheel or have it refurbished, this is a very good option. Easy to use, and gives a fair finished result if you follow the instructions. If you like me, and don't remove the steering wheel from the car, I would recommend treating the steering wheel in quarter sections, always drying the area you painted directly. You won't see any overlapping, it blends in well. In my case, I had to glue the leather to the core first using a syringe, which left small holes that needed light sanding, so I sanded the whole steering wheel, before using the degreaser in the kit. I took 5-6 layers of paint before I got the finish I wanted, but as the product dries fast, this is not an issue. Positive with the Steering Wheel Restoration Repair Kit is that it really makes your steering wheel look as new! Downside of the product, is that you loose a bit of the "leather feeling" of your steering wheel, which isn't a problem if your car has a none leather steering wheel. Treating the surface with a leather product, helped a bit with the feeling, and made it a bit more glossy, more original look, as the repair kit leaves a very matt finish. So far no pealing or paint coming of the steering wheel - happy with the product!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
