Unlike the windows counterpart this one is all on one DVD which is nice!
Got this on Mac as I have a small collection of PowerPC macs and I am slowly building a collection of software for them and came across this game. It's just like the Windows version as far as I can tell, with the main and so far only difference I can find is that this is on a DVD as apposed to the PC release which was on four CD roms. It's a fun game and well worth looking into if your curious about the origins of the series. It's not the first ever Sims game, that would likely be the original Sim City if my memory serves (A bit before my time) but it is the first in The Sims series.
