Not as good as the older version
Bought this to replace an older one as the basket handle broke. The new one is OK. It does make good chips etc. but it is not as easy to keep clean as the older one. The oil froths up and spills down the outside making a mess on my worktop as well as on the outside of the fryer. The viewing window in the lid seems like a good idea but it steams up in use so you can't see anything through it and have to open the lid to check if the food is done.
