BT Telephone Power Supplies
My domestic phone network uses three of these. One each for the base and two satellite hand sets. The power supply of the base unit packed up ten days ago. I swapped it for one of the good ones from a satellite pending arrival of my first replacement. On arrival, that worked fine. A few days later the pow3r supply to the base unit expired again. So that’s two dead power supplies out of three in about a week. Quality? Value for Money? I have ordered another two in order to anticipate another failure. I watch and wait with interest. IT SOLVED THE PROBLEM
One of the charging bases of my two-phone set stopped charging the phone. You would be forgiven for assuming the base had developed a fault. Not so. By connecting the base to the upstairs phone cable, it worked ok so it was the charger plug and cable that was faulty. To save continually having to switch the phones round on the working base to charge them I bought this new plugged cable and problem solved. Thought the price a bit steep but needs must and at least it arrived quickly and saved replacing the phones eventually.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

So far, so good, but a little on the expensive side?
Well, it hasn't blown any fuses around the house yet, so that's a good start.. Only been operational for just over a week,, so, limited in what can be reviewed. Good points: Casing is not getting hot, so seems well matched to charge the phone it was intended to. Not so good points: This ( as well as many other variations of these PSU's ) is relatively expensive, governed by its original and OEM manufactured prices in the open market. Let's face it, the retailers know their game and apply margins well above what you would expect to pay, for what it is. Knowingly, that you can't operate without its presence in the kit.. Extend fault to the actual telephone in the combo and you may have a problem establishing a valid warranty claim IF a non branded PSU was in use at the time. That said, this non BT approved accessory has so far, done its job.. Ask me again in 12 months eh? ;-)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Why I used EBay
Telephones and Charger (Wireless phone) one is no good without the other. We are BT Customers. However, when I contacted them from a none wireless phone their automated technology kept testing my line. All we wanted was a charger.
