These are really useful. I use them to mark rows when knitting on a circular needle. They fit most popular sizes of needle and move easily with the stitches whilst I am knitting. Fabulous stitch/place markers! Why? Because the colours are bright and easy to see, The loops that go round the needles are soft and loose so that there is no sensation of a hard bulky object when knitting (I really like that!). They are lightweight so that you are hardly aware they are there until you get to them and they remind you! There are no rough edges to catch on your yarn. You get quite a few for your money - 6 per packet. They are very well made and I love that they look like tiny balls of yarn!
