not quite as good as i would have liked.
I bought this tool to insert synthetic corks as i have had poor results with the cork that seems to be available these days. My existing clamshell corker not being strong enough. This tool gets the corks in but they stick out by about 5mm which looks awful when you put a shrink top on them. Well made - not easy to use, sometimes jumps off bottle before cork is fully inserted, no matter how hard you try not to let it. Absolutely super!
I have got this corker + size 9 corks..it works amazing if you leave the corks soak in water(with campden) for 20-30 min. Im woman, not super strong and i have to say this product suprised me a lot. I can manage on my own, very easy when you find the way. Can recomende this to anyone who dont want to spent too much money. You can see my final products with caps. Happy brewing to everyone ☺
