Double check switching before purchasing.
The mic was advertised as switched but I received an unswitched mic, which is not a problem I use a lot of mics but, worth double checking if you specifically need a switched mic. The mesh head is not that substantial and has separated along the center line within 6 months. The sound quality is not amazing but it is acceptable. It is an effective mic but is not as well made as the older Shure mics. It was worth what I paid for it - had I paid full price I would be complaining about it.

Excellent microphone
I love this microphone I have said this isn't a light weight microphone there is some weight to it but that's a positive thing for me. Its means its solid not going to break should last a while . I have changed the microphone grill not because theres anything wrong with it just because I wanted a different colour that's all the silver grill I will use when needed.

Sure SN58 is still up with the best
Clear as a bell, I can see why they rate this microphone as one of the best. The price makes it an unbelievable bargain. Great microphone for studio and live performances. If you can find one make it a priority. I can assure that you won’t be sorry

Legendary for a reason
Everyone knows the shure sm58, the most well known dynamic Mic in the world, and for good reason. If you're only used to cheapo karaoke mics and the like, do yourself a favour and get an sm58, it's simply brilliant, close to condenser Mic quality from a dynamic mic, amazing for live use.

Sure microphone
I cannot review this item as it was a gift for my daughter who sings and DJ's....however, I have seen it being used and the quality was fab...I have known about the name SHURE for many years and it was my first choice, there are cheaper mics for sale but without the quality. The saying 'you get what you pay for' comes to mind. Very pleased with the purchase as I knew I would be....Thanks, Mrs Beryl Davies.
