Milty Zerostat 3 Key Features The Zerostat 3 uses a unique piezo-electric crystal device that generates a stream of negative ions with a gentle squeeze of the trigger, followed by a positive stream upon release, effectively neutralising static without harm.

About this product

Product Information

Remove static electricity from your valuable LP records with the Milty Zerostat gun. This handy device can be used on any surface that generates static electricity, but it's become especially celebrated among the vinyl record-collecting community. Simply hold the blue anti-static gun a few inches away from the record and pull the trigger. Piezoelectric crystals release positive ion streams when you pull the trigger and negative ion streams upon release.

    Static no more!

This is extremely effective at removing static from most plastic or vinyl that is charged with static electricity. Very easy to use and is best used to discharge LP records. A slow squeeze about 3 inches away from the record and then a slow release at each quarter of the record worked best for me. Yes it is expensive for what it actually is, but it will be the only one you will purchase in a lifetime. Nothing else like it as far as I know. Records sound click/ pop free from the effect of static. Best price I found from here too! Thanks!

    Makes no difference

I am very disappointed with this product. It makes no discernible difference that my ears can tell. I really did want it to work too. I tried different ways of using it - cleaning the records with a carbon brush first, then stopping the turntable to use the gun, but it doesn't make static go away!

  • Better than I expected.

I wasn't quite sure if this would be a worthwhile purchase, but I bought it due to the fact that all the reviews I had read were very positive. It was quite expensive and required quite a lot of practice to master it's correct use, but now I wouldn't be without it, a really great way of helping to remove static from vinyl records.

  • Static gone

I have a lot of old records and by using this I can say that I have noticed a big difference in the static noise.

  • Hit and miss

Sort of works but having spent nearly £150 on various record cleaning items (cloth, fluid, roller, carbon brush, stylus gel, cleaning mat, this gun) I went and bought a Pro-Ject VCE. What really annoyed me about this item is the instructions are not clear. The instructions on the box mention nothing about clicking. I had to watch a third party You Tube video to find out ‘clicking’ means the gun isn’t performing. Maybe this works, maybe it doesn’t, but save yourself the snake-oil mindset and put your money towards a proper cleaner. Every time I pull the trigger on this gun I hear the retail elves cackling....

  • A helpful tool

A little tricky squeezing and releasing the trigger without clicking but getting the hang of it. I use a Nitty Gritty machine on my old vinyl before playing but I think the Zerostat helps remove those annoying clicks and plops.

  • Good anti static ...

Works well. Quite expensive for the use it gives itself.

  • i does'nt really work

does it actually work? its meant to get rid of static, but when i use it i dont see any benefit at all the platter matt still sticks to the record, and i can still here the static on the record when i play it i would'nt bother to buy one of these,i would get a cloth or a brush to remove the static snake oil!!! • Useful for cleaner records

Air has pollen and dust particles suspended in it . Playing vinyl records statically charges them , attracting them to the record. This device neutralizes the charge, keeping your record clean and free of clicks caused by them .It does well what they say it does . Best used immediately after playing a side . Use a carbon fiber brush before play.

  • Returning to Vinyl

After being away for Vinyl for years, it’s a joy to try a modern decent but inexpensive deck with an interesting stylus and some well cut records, such as Grace Jones Nightclubbing, which is an amazing pressing and sonically fab. The zerostat helps to keep everything top-top!
