Great product Shane about the lid.
The wax polish is really good and as it has a colouring you can match it to other wood stains you’re using. Unfortunately the tin lid on mine would not stay on and in warm weather the wax becomes almost liquid and it poured out partly. Taken aback at how good this is
I have previously used Briwax Walnut polish on some cheap pine. The end result looked rather interesting, and pleasing. Then I made a back for a Savonarola chair out of a piece of real oak, and applied Briwax Tudor Oak polish. I was literally open-mouthed at how good the result looked, even after a single coat. My amateur woodcraft took on an undeservedly professional look. The polish brought out the beautiful grain in the oak, without looking brash or unnatural. In summary, it was very easy and quick to apply, and gave stunning results. This is truly wonderful polish, and I couldn't recommend it more highly.
