Three new bulbs in approximately one month
Although this light has only been used on a very few occasions since installation about one month ago, it has blown three new bulbs in that time. The bulbs were the correct type recommended for the light. Obviously it is totally uneconomic and very inconvenient to continually replace bulbs so we have had to remove the light and purchase a suitable alternative. Compact & Robust
This Bulkhead lamp holder is neat and compact in overall size and its overall quality is good and robust. The only downside is the push in grommet's holding grip within the entry socket could be better. I installed the pair I bought in our cellar but if I had installed them outdoors I would have used some sealant to make sure that the cable entry socket remained 100% water tight. Absolutely appalling quality
These are the worst lights ever. The quality of them is disgusting. You can just about get a cable in them but literally have to take them apart to do it. Not a chance if you need to get two cables in. Can't sit them flush on a wall and then change a light bulb.. Have to again take them down to do it or mount them on blocks. These cost less than half what I would have paid at a local DIY store for exactly the same item. Good quality, robust and easy to fit. Nice lights but a little on the small side. Does not fit a Philips Hue Bulb straight out of the box which is what I bought them for.
