Laminated is the way to go
A highly detailed map for exploring the SE Lake district. I think it is worth paying a little extra to get this laminated version. It is less likely to tear, and can be used in the rain (often necessary in the Lake District). Also, you can write on it in pencil, and easily rub it out again, without damaging the surface.
