This Garage Door Opener by Chamberlain was the perfect replacement for our prior 33 year old one. It had a relatively simple assembly with great step-by-step virtual instructions. It easily connected to the inside control. It has an easy to setup camera that is controlled by an app on your mobile phone. The app notifies you when the door is opened or closed and allows you to see what the camera sees and gives you control to open and close the door. No more leaving the house and wondering if you closed the garage door on the way out; even if you did leave it open, you can close it from where you are. Why no motion detectors?
Great features and new look. Nice warranty. Why did Chamberlain decide to remove the motion detectors that make the light come on from the sensors on the garage door rails? This came in so handy many times on my previous chamberlain opener. Now, unless I close or open the garage door, the light only comes on from the motion detector on the wall switch.Walking into the dark garage, the lights remain off. Outstanding garage door opener
Installation was long but the instructions are easy to read. Programming the outside wifi pad, wireless hub with sensor, and remotes are easy. The garage door opener is quiet and the video cam works great. I would recommend purchasing an electrical staple gun with staples and staple remover with this product to run the wires from the photo eyes and remote to the opener.
