It works, but I had just one cable supplied
It works for a second hand printer, but I had just one cable supplied, and it needs two to connect to notebook devices. Very complex to use, took six hours to set up. Timed out when I was trying to install it, on Windows 11, lucky H. P still have the hardware links. You need an account with H. P to use all the features, and the H. P smart app and plug-in. These are new security functions that's not immediately apparent if you have never used one. I also had to look up what ink it uses, luckily it was out of warranty, so I wasn't automatically subscribed into a pointless time -consuming trial.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

HP scores again
I have used HP products for many years always great printers, but recently I have used Cannon & Epsom. When my last printer died. I decided to return back to HP once again. Good price, print is to the usual standard of HP brilliant I did struggle in setting up the printer, in the olden days they supplied a disc to install quick & easy. Being a pensioner all this modern stuff is beyond me nowadays. In the end I got my son to install it now I have it installed on computer and on my phone.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It's riding on the HP name - it disappoints
This printer scanner has decent print quality but in all other respects it is way inferior to the 10 year old HP printer scanner which it was purchased to replace. The wireless install did not work despite 5 tries (it's now connected by a cable!), the new HP Smart app is slow, very basic and badly designed. There is no adjustment to lighten or darken when copying and the tiny LCD display (which does not even flip up) is a joke.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I read reviews. I found this reasonably easy to set up. I have helped friends with HP printers set up and has been difficult. Very pleased with item, mainly bought because of instant ink .. as I have had printers with expensive cartridges purchased and then the printer doesn’t recognise them and spend hours on it messing about , cleaning nozzles etc etc and print quality rubbish wasting time. Instant ink service fantastic idea and big draw for purchasers. No more worries means your printer maintenance will be seamless

Futuristic printer...
Very impressed with my printer. On set-up had a choice whether to use Wi-FI or attach direct via cable to my PC. It was straight forward to insert the inks as both tri-colour & blank ink cartridges were clearly marked how to insert them correctly on the manual & on the printer itself. And no need to use any DVD disc as the software driver itself was available to download via HP's website, and once there was prompted to add and confirm the model and it then began to download its software and even printed off information to aid me regarding how to connect via Wi-Fi and HP's instant ink service which I joined have two month free service on purchasr. The printer is even communicates with HP's website if & when the ink is low and even sends out new ink as part of the pre-paid Instant Ink service in which you are given multiple choices which plan you prefer, ink to print 50 pgs, 100 pgs etc... Printer from hell
Extremely difficult to set up printing from your home wifi tech, we have set up printers before but never like this one, HP and Microsoft have gone in to partnership and want all your personal details to try and sell you expensive inks and other things that you don't need or want, printing cartridges are tiny, print quality is awful, still not finished the set up after 4 weeks of ownership, if you know what's good for you avoid at costs !Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
