Extra long handled shovel for an extra long working life.
I have a 1954 Chevy pickup truck and I was looking for a period aged American type of shovel to clip onto the bed of the truck.It is going to be clipped to the truck through all kinds of weather,ie:-wind,rain,sleet,snow and sunshine.I've learnt that if the shovel has a wooden handle then over time it starts to rot.This will not happen with the Roughneck as it has a very thick robust fibre glass handle,and I truely can see it lasting me years,such is the good build quality.Also if you're tall like me,the extra long handle stops the inevitable back ache tall people seem to suffer from when the shovel/pick/spade handle is too short and not designed for tall people.No more stooping over to shovel dirt.Geat!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
