Perfect Supplemental Betta food.
For me, Hikari always make the best fish food. The Bio Gold is no exception. Some pellets float while others sink making it ideal for all fish personalities. In my experiences Hikari food will improve colouration in most livestock. This is probably due to the high nutritional content of the food (compared to most other fish food manufacturers). Tasty, convenient and great value
My betta likes these floating pellets, good size, great flavour, 6-8 pieces at a time and he is full. I also like them because there is no food pollution: even if I need to dash and Blue doesn't finish the meal, the unused little balls stick to the side of the tank and can be removed easily with a feeding stick, even hours later. The few which end up in the pebbles because of the current are easy to 'hoover' up at the weekly cleaning. The little sachet lasts for about 6 months for one fish, making this a great value product. floating fish food
The fish are certainly happy to be fed but I feel the food is a bit hard at first for them, as they eat and spit it out several times. However it all gets eaten with little or no waste and fighting fish can be fussy eaters but I have had no problem at all with them taking up this new food. In fact I have bought several pack now so they will last many months. One note is the packs look small when they arrive but this not a problem as the food is very small and the packs last a more than acceptable time as long as you follow the instructions and do not overfeed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
