Amazing value blast from the past and still fun
It all works really well which is more than you can say if you try picking up an old Mega Drive, those circuit boards are brittle now! My kids loved playing the games on here and I still think they're great fun. Streets of rage was a real flashback of '92 and i wasn't expecting to somehow remember the secret rooms full of rings on Sonic but i did! The Mega drive itself is a really small version of its former self, which is good as we dont like to keep the clutter down these days so it pops in a drawer. The graphics are not great but you dont really notice to be honest, unless you have just put down the latest Xbox but I gave up gaming when the extra thumb toggles were introduced to the game pads. Great feature about this new Mega Drive is you can save your games on it really easily which kind of gives you an advantage now so you can save it right before one of the bosses at the end of the level and just restart back again if you die. I would definitely recommend if you're 30+ and have young kids.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sega really did good job for this console it is an exact mini version of the original console, i would buy 2nd one and keep it. The plastic is good quality not cheap like the other mini consoles. Volume button goes up and down does not effect volume though, cartridge slot opens to see where cartridges used to go. It goes with 2 x USB controllers which is always a plus. Controller's buttons feel great, respond well and has long cord around 2m, they work perfect no delays. 40 games included, plus 2 bonus titles, the game's work perfectly. i haven't found something i didn't like about this console. You get great value for your money. Overall buy it you won't regret it. Support Sega to bring more quality consoles.
