Free “land line” with Google Voice
This is a terrific product. I have been a long time Google Voice user. The phone numbers rang on my cell phone and my phone company phone. When I dropped cable I bought this as an end point for two of my Google Phone numbers. No telco needed. No more phone bills. This particular model allows for two separate Google Voice numbers. Simply plug the obi into your network, connect your telephone to the obi, follow the simple instructions to start the configuration and it will automatically add the obi device to your google voice configuration. SAVES TONS OF MONEY!
Been using the Obi200 for two years. Other than having to occasionally reboot it, it has been working flawlessly. Best investment I've ever made. NO phone bill and using with Google Voice I still have pretty much all the features I used to have to pay for (caller ID, unlimited call block, and even spam call protection that is UNMATCHED. Works Perfectly with Google Voice
The Polycom 220049522001 is a newer model of the OBi202 telephone adapter for IP calls. Although the phone does NOT support emergency 911 calls, it does work perfectly with Google voice and even cooler - when your Google voice phone rings you can also have it call your ANdroid Pixel 3 phone at the same time. I love the Google Voice features which let you screen callers and route calls to voice mail. It is a great little box!
The only problem with Google Voice numbers are that they don't have good voicemail retrieval. I love the product though. You just need someone to show you exactly how to set it up. Not so simple. Great feature rich VoIP device
I’ve only had this device for a few weeks and haven’t made many calls, but so far it’s worked well. I’m not using the router at this time, so can’t comment on it. The VoIP is working great so far. I prioritized this device as a whole in my router rather than prioritize every TCP/UDP port that it may use. I think my router will use the source IP address of the OBi202 to know when to prioritize that traffic. At this time I’ve only configured it with the Google Voice service. This device has many many settings that you can customize, but many require a good understanding, so recommend you use the defaults unless you do some research first. Don’t forget to change the Admin and User passwords from their defaults. I connected two separate cordless phone systems (base units) to this device via the separate two phone jacks and both phone systems work fine. Obi by Polycom two line phone adapter for Google Voice
This two line Obi by Polycom Google Voice Adapater provided a great way to have Google Voice for a home phone system. Have used this setup first by ObiHai, and now under Polycom. It has not been prefect, but has generally worked pretty well. Not sure if these shall be available in the long terms. Many features of landline. Definitely worth the money.

I've been using these for 4 years.
I use it with voip.ms. The only problem is when initially registering the device with OBI, it can take quite a few tries before the registration works. Maybe due to OBIs servers. I did have to buy the current unit because the one I had failed after 4 years.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
