Forget super glue on plastic
I got fed up with super glues which should hold together all sorts of plastics but don't. Bostic type glues will hold okay but the join is always weak on plastic. Super glue especially on plastic I always found to be a waste of time. You may as well try to stick the pieces together with water. Then I remembered as a kid making up plastic Airfix models and how brilliantly the glue used for them stuck hard as rock. So I tried this Humbrol Poly Cement for all my broken plastic mishaps and wow, this cement glue works just like the old stuff years ago and sets as hard as rock fairly quickly. So, if you're like me and have found super glues on plastic not that fantastic, give Humbrol Poly Cement a try....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

GREAT FOR FINE PLASTICS.
Where superglues fail in certain applications this glue is successful. I manage to keep accidentally breaking one of the hard plastic tail lghts on my folding camper and this is the only glue that bonds the jigsaw pieces. Like the easy way it comes out of the tube.
No need to have a pin to puncture the tube, comes open. And it glues very well, BUT be careful as it does run out very easily, and drips out. So you have to keep it upright when using it. Also if you put a bit to much on, it wipes off easily and leaves no marks.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value model glue - works well, what can I say? It seems to work by melting the plastic and 'welding' it together, so be careful of excess glue. Lasts well so it's economic- a little dab'll do ya! Not an impact adhesive, but fairly quick drying. However, watch the fumes and keep away from glue addicts - if fact I think there should be restrictions on it's sale for that reason!
