OK but not brilliant as it feels a bit dated. Probably written several years ago and things have moved on.
Setting up is not as easy as I expected and the instructions are geared to setting up for remote/internet operatiin. However I had to spend over an hour just understanding how to run the radio directly from a laptop. The com port settings needed to be changed. Deleted and reloaded the software and at last it worked! The only problem is that the waterfall needs a bit rate that was faster than the usb1 could handle!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A bit expensive for what you get
Honestly for the price it's just not worth it. Now the software.. it functions fine. No major issues installing the programs or drivers. Got the remote utility and the remote panel all connected and working. And if you want something that will LOOK just like your radio it does graphically. Most of the main functions and buttons are there. Spectrum scope works on the directly connected computer. But for what I can see that's it. Problem is that Win4Icom blows it away, graphically superior and the same server / remote connection setup. While it is nice to have the OFFICIAL ICOM software for the price I spent half and got twice the value.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Thanks very much. It took a while to get it installed, had to watch videos several times to get it right. Suggest purchaser join the RA BA1 Ver2 Facebook page for help. Software arrived in just a few days and installed ad stared with no problems.
