High density of soft bristles make for very pleasant brushing of gum areas where they meet your teeth - ensuring good cleaning which a hard bristle is unlikely to do. Best toothbrush for receding gums and a white smile!
I floss as well, but since I started using these several years ago my gums stopped receding, I haven't needed a descale & polish, my deepest periodontal pocket is just 0.5mm, and my dentist is very complimentary. You require less toothpaste with these than a normal soft brush too. They do cost more than more conventional brushes, but they're for your teeth which have to last a lifetime. Apply only gentle pressure - if the bristles become even slightly bent over time you're overdoing it. The brushes do need replacing every now and again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A new tooth brush
After receiving some bad new from my dentist, regarding my gums, I began a search for new dental products. And found these amazing multi coloured funky toothbrushes. The handles are long and slender and the brush heads is more squarish than traditional toothbrushes, which make it easier to reach the back teeth. The bristle are slightly longer and there is more of them, than standard toothbrushes. Which helps cleaning my teeth easier and they feel great. This toothbrush is a soft but very effective brush for my severely learning disabled grandson’s teeth. He hates having his teeth cleaned and it is often very difficult to clean them. The gums often bleed as they are not regularly being massaged as his teeth are cleaned. However, during his stay with us I have been able to use the brush to clean up at the gum margins and we have not had bleeding gums for the past two weeks. His teeth are cleaner and he copes well with cleaning now. .
