Very convenient.
Love this light switch for the convenience it brings. I have the bridge paired with Alexa and this switch shines in the convenience department. Setting routines or times for the lights to turn on and at what intensity to illuminate makes is helpful for things like waking up without being blinded by full power lights, turning down the intensity for watching a movie or winding down in the evening, or being able to set the lights to turn on when you're about to get home.
The downside to me is that it's not going to take the place of an easy to operate rocker switch. Rocker switches are just easier to toggle physically. While on the topic of comparing to rocker switches, comparing this to a rocker switch with a slide dimmer,I don't like that when you turn the lights on, you either press the dim up button to get your lights on at the lowest level, or the on button which turns them on to full blast. It would have been nice to press one of the buttons and have the lights come on to the last brightness they were on before being shut off. I like mine between 50% and 70% so most of the time i find myself turning them on using a scene set in the Lutron app or by voice command. If you have the pico remote, you can set a scene to the little button it has but that's a different kit.
Overall, for places like bedrooms and common areas that you would actually use the dimming feature frequently, i think this is a fantastic switch. If you're planning on using one of these for an area that isn't dimmed as much such as a porch light, I wouldn't spend the extra money.
