3 speed fan with 4 GU 10 lampholders
I purchased 2 of these fans, fitted one so far. Relatively easy to fit although being an electrician I have all the tools to hand. Minor gripes, 2 big fixing screws are very soft, rounded the head off one so ended up using long wood screws. When connecting there are 2 live wires, due to the way my old light was wired I needed to put both lives into the same connector hole and 2 wouldnt fit so I had to put a wire from the connector to a larger extra connector block. Again I had plenty of connectors but may be a bit annoying to someone fitting it if they have to go out to buy bigger connector. Instructions ok but not the best. Quality Fan
This is superb. Ok, it comes in what seems to be a thousand pieces, but with a little logic and an hour or so of time to put together, is well worth it. It is quiet running, only a small droning sound from the motor. It was a godsend in the recent hot weather, and even on the lowest fan setting gave a lovely flow of air in my living room. It is possibly a little more expensive than a quality stand up fan, but much more efficient. Fortunately I know a good electrician who put it up for me, who doesn't charge an arm and a leg, so at least know its wired correctly. All in all an excellent quality fan, and I'd highly recommend. I am a 'Fan' of this!
Unpack the box and lay out all the pieces, and don't panic, there might seem a lot, but if you take your time you will get them all fitted together! First job is to make sure the support in your ceiling is strong enough to support this Fan - it is not light! then follow the instructions for assembling the bits - one word of advice though. If you have usual domestic light fitting where the wires come through the ceiling into a multi terminal junction box, think about moving this into the roof space before fitting the light - then you will just have 3 wires to play with and a bit more room in the fitting. For some of the assembly it might be useful to have 2 people working together to ensure wires are neatly fitted inside when screwing sections together etc. But the finished item is worth the work - works well, not too loud, easy to operate and plenty of adjustment on the light fittings too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice fan. Nice light . Got some nice led ones for mine. Easy to install as well . Only reason for 4 stars is it doesn't let off enough wind for my liking . I can remember as a kid when had one at home im sure they could chop broom handles lol. I'm guessing it some new legislation stuff limiting the power .
