    Disappointed!

Bought these pegs thinking they would be stronger than the brass coloured ones I already have but they bent in just the same way on the hard standing pitch we were on last week. Nothing wrong with the pegs themselves but I need not have bought them as I have more than I need of several other types already! Camp site hard standings are a nightmare,

    Not so good.

I purchased these to use on the type of ground for which they are intended. They are completely useless and a waste of money. I've ended up buying more knock-in pegs and now have a full box of screw-in pegs sat in my garage collecting dust. Save your money and don't bother, unless you're using them in grass.

  • Save lots of energy putting in and removing.

Tried out for the first time during our holiday at Rosemarkie, Black Isle. Site was grass but on top of hard standing. Used a few 'standard' hard pegs to hammer in with 2lb hammer. Then tried screw pro awning pegs - still had to guide through larger stones (they are not masonarry drills after all). With my De Walt drill, went down no problem. Removing at the end was a dream. Only point to note was to hold plastic tops as they tend to spin with the peg. Kind of obvoius, but realised very quickly. So good, I will probably buy more. Many thanks.

  • Quality and Price

These screw in awning pegs are easy to use for anyone who can't kneel for long. They are really good quality at an attractive price. The only down side is the need to purchase a 13 mm socket which should be included in the set.

  • Tent pegs

I used these for the first time at Mount Snowdon using a battery powered drill with a 13mm socket. Went in and out of the hard and sometimes very stoney ground with ease. When I got home I used them to secure a childrens swing which they did perfectly.

Product was as described is robust and of good quality

  • Robust and good design

Haven’t used these yet, but they look robust and a good design, so can see no reason why they wouldn’t do a good job come in a nice solid box too.

  • Bigger Hole

The pegs were very good. The only criticism is that the plastic heads spin when using a power drill to put them in the ground, if the holes in the plastic were slightly larger this would not occur. This is not a complaint, it is more for you to improve the design.

  • Good quality

Have only given this a "Good" as haven't used the pegs yet. They seem very sturdy and good quality and the carry box is handy

  • Waste of money

First I've tried these the wouldn't screw in the hard standing properly they came back out again ' tried a couple more times got half way diesided to hit them in with a rubber mallet and they just bent ' so gave up in the end and used normal pegs
