  • fantastic camera for video and stills

This is NTSC version now available in EU, through UK seller pixel_deals. NTSC only means that the video is made in frame rates usual for USA and other countries which used NTSC system in analog (video and tv) era. Now in digital era this is the only difference between NTSC and PAL versions of one digital camera. These video frame rates per second - fps - by NTSC are 60 and 30, instead of 50 and 25 by PAL. Often this is written as 60p and 30p, where 'p' means 'progressive' or full pictures. Another feature different from EU models is menu language in camera. It is English and Spanish only. This is not mentioned in detailed description on pixel_deals site on eBay.

  • The Panasonic FZ1000 Bridge Camera

I had the Panasonic FZ330 prior to this purchase and it was a brilliant Bridge Compact Camera,so Decided to go for the next model the FZ1000 it is one amazing camera but has a much bigger sensor im still findingthings on this Camera but the clarity and results so far a stunning and much superior. Having been an avid DSLR man for 30 plus yrs i was getting weighed down with extra lenses and having to change them .This Panasonic Model is much lighter has a great range buthasa lot of the dslr functions but so much easier to u derstand and for a budding amatuer or someone who wants a quality ease of use camera the Panasonic FZ1000 ticks all boxes plus is Worth the Money i can assure you This BridgeCamera will not dissapoint Peter Curtis Yaxley PeterboroghCambs

  • Splendid Bridge Camera

Beautiful 4K video and amazing photos. Easy to use, great 120fps footage. Superzoom 400x is amazing. Fixed lens has its pros and cons but i love the fact that you don't have to carry lens all the time! Not a pro camera but for the price its amazing.

  • EXCELLENT CAMERA

The Panisonic FZ1000 is one awesome camera. Well built and full of features. The image quality is exceptional both video and stills. For the begginers with cameras it very easy to use on iA or iA plus. And for the more advanced camera user lots of control over your images. The 1 inch sensor is a big plus as well. The smaller sensor Panisonic models are still excellent choices, but I would go for the larger sensor it really does make a difference in certain situations. If you're looking for an excellent all round camera you can't beat this camera. I highly recommend this camera.

  • big bang for your buck.

great camera in the hands of an idiot i'm afraid. sure, i can take good pics and vids with it but it is capable of so much more. i'm not a quick learner and it would take me forever and a day to become half way proficient with this beast but for a younger more adequate user this will probably knock the spots of most dslr's in terms of facilities and the great zoom lens. for the most part and for most people photography is about capturing the moment and messing about with interchangeable lenses does not fulfill that requirement. even pro snappers could benefit from having this lumix bridge camera in their arsenal. in fact, it was a pro snapper who recommended i buy a second hand one for my £300 budget. he said it was quick and easy to get to grips with. ha ha, for him perhaps. i really am glad i took his advice as you can use it out of the box on auto and the lens plus the image stabilisation and 1'' sensor allow me to zoom in on detail to a phenomenal degree.

  • fz1000 or fz300/330?

having owned numerous panasonic bridge cameras, l have found the fz1000 to be bettered [overall] by the fz300/330. in medium to good light the fz300 has a lens that is able to reciprocate (equal) the pictures/video from the fz1000. at high (1000 and above) ISO settings the fz1000 produces cleaner images, but the fz300/330 often nullifies the need/want for high ISOs, with its bright 2.8 lens. chiefly in its (the fz300) favour is the fact that it is sturdier and hardier (by being weather proofed) and has [additional to the fz1000] 'touch screen' abilities. the fact that it shares most of the features of the fz1000 and [ultimately] has more in its arsenal, is relevant in making a comparison.. and with it [the fz300/330] being between £100-200 cheaper, it surely (therefore) represents better value for money to would be buyers of a bridge camera.

  • Great bit of kit

This camera is superb value for money, I paid around 400 for a camera described as hardly used and to be honest it looks brand new, most of the accessories still sealed in their plastic packaging and I would have believed them if they had sold it as new. A total bargain.

  • Good value camera.

The camera is as good as new and takes fairly good photos. The zoom lens is not 400mm as Panasonic rate it but optical zoom reaches 145 mm, which is less than I expected. Despite this it is a good allround bridge camera and well priced. The menu takes some getting used to and the camera settings are sometimes awkward to change quickly. Overall I am happy with my purchase and think it's great value.

  • Full frame camera and excellent lens.

The camera was sold with acknowledged faults but this did not stop it taking very good photos. I have spares to correct the wear and tear problems and will sort that out soon.

  • Best camera I have ever owned

This camera has limitless functions which are easy to access and use to produce excellent pictures. The lens is very high quality Ziess, with a zoom that is amazing, as though it is indicated as being a 400mm, it actually zooms to a much higher magnification than this using some tech wizardry, which together with dual stabilization, results in amazing pictures, even without using a tripod. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a top end "bridge camera" .
