Maybe I have big ears, but this is so much more comfortable than the unit-issued (D-shaped) ones. Now, I am all about using free/issued equipment, but my ear would hurt terribly after an hour... and after 12 hours, forget it. My job requires me to wear a motorola earpeice/mic like this. Worth the extra cost
While there are many cheaper earpieces, we use these ones at work and they last much longer. They are also much more comfortable to wear than other models.
