Excellent Headphones
Bottom line, these headphones sound great. Wireless connection is easy. I've been able to connect an iPhone, Android, and Windows with no problem. The recharging cable is a standard USB-C connector rather than some proprietary recharging cable. This is especially nice since the included recharging cable is less than 6" long and longer cables are readily available. The noise cancellation is excellent. There is a third noise cancellation mode called Ambient Sound. Ambient Sound cancels out noise except for voice. This allows the user to be able to hear important announcements like on a subway train or airplane. A standard 3.5mm audio cable is also included, but the plug at the headphones has a narrower body. Other 3.5mm audio cables will not fit these headphones. These headphones allows the use of the audio cable, Bluetooth turned off, and still have noise cancelling operational. Great sound, No more wires! Totally pleased.
This is my first pair of wireless headphones, and I am totally impressed. I have had Bose, Sennheiser and other top brand phones in the past and I can honestly say I didn't expect Sony to be anywhere close to the sound and quality build that these provide. I am using this on my Windows 10 Surface 4, no connectivity issues at all. I am running an equalizer at flat settings. I am so impressed by the quality and depth of sound. I was blown away by the Bass and the Volume. I love the noise cancellation feature, I can't believe how quiet these are! I can stand right next to a noisy machine of any kind and I can barely hear it, even with no music playing. The wireless Bluetooth feature is the most impressionable. I love the freedom of being able to move anywhere in my house without having to deal with wires. I expected some dropout, but so far have not had any issues in that respect. The music plays and plays without skipping a beat. Also enjoy the gestures I can use to change volume, skip songs, and even mute. They are very comfortable, not too heavy. The ear cups fit snugly against the head, which may make your ears feel warm after lengthy wearing. Nice case to store them in as well. Great Sounding Sony Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones
My new Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones have terrific tonal quality and perform well on the noise cancellation side of performance. The connect easily via Bluetooth to either my iPad, iPhone, or Mac computer. To reconnect via Bluetooth to a new device, you do have to make sure that the prior connection is terminated or out of range. Sony should be ashamed of the puny charging cord included with the headphones. The charging cord is only 9 inches long from tip to tip. Additionally Sony does not include a USB AC adaptor charger with the headphones. If you don't already have a charger, make sure you buy one with the recommended output of 1.5 temps or more (as listed in the owner's manual).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Awesome sound and noise canceling, can't wait to use for travel.
I did a ton of research about these headphones prior to purchase, specifically comparing to the Bose QuietComfort II. After lots of reading, I found a fantastic deal on here and am so happy that I went with this Sony product. The noise canceling is excellent, they're super comfortable, and they look great. I bought them primarily for travel and reading/studying, to be worn for long periods of time. I just received these today so their longevity and comfort for long periods of wear is to be determined, but I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Best Headphones under $350, no contest!!!
These headphones are awesome, plain and simple. If you like headphones that are a little bass-heavy but offer crystal clear highs and mids, look no further. Now, for the audiophiles, these headphones have a sound that is a little warmer than the competition, namely Bose's QC 35; I heard the Sennheisers around this price range are good too, but the Sony and Bose are top dogs. They fit so well I've fallen asleep in them; almost nightly, really. And with the 30 hr battery life you truly don't have to worry about immediately throwing them on the charger so they won't die on you right in the middle of listening to something. The noise-canceling is awesome, especially since it adjusts to what you are doing (walking, sitting, etc...) at the time; I think they adjust to the ambient noise instead of just a single ”level” of outside noise. The app is great and easy to navigate to get the exact sound quality you're looking for. So that's a massive plus in my book; the option to create at least two separate equalizer settings to fine tune or tailor to a specific sound type is great. And I think I nailed all the main points. Hopefully. The two minor things to mention would be the hard case to protect the headphones from damage and the separate, 4-foot headphone cable in the off chance that the headphones do run out of juice. Though if that happens, like, 15 minutes on the charger gives you 5 hours of runtime. All in all, these headphones are phenomenal and I recommend them to friends and family. Obviously, with that being stated, it's fairly easy to recommend them to you, dear reader. Goes Toe to Toe With All Other Top-of-the-line Headphones.
These are top of the line in quality and noise reduction. Hands down a must-have for those music lovers who are looking for the absolute best in sound quality. Now, of course this is a bold statement. How do I know if it's truly better than absolutely anything out there? I don't. But, it's up there WITH the best of the best. If you decide on a different product that's also up there in sound quality because the features were better suited to you, more power to you. But, you cannot go wrong choosing thing. By the way, battery life is no joke. I always use the noise cancelling which claims up to 22 hours of battery life in the manual. I once got a notification telling me the battery was at 30% and I kept listening for several more hours. (Not all at once, I didn't have to charge until the next day.) Compare these to anything else in the same price range and these will sound just as good if not better (not counting for personal preferences). Except Beats. Great product!
I believe these are the best in the biz now! But then I've haven't tried on any other companies latest versions of noise canceling snd other newer features. These Sony models have neat features for lowering raising the sound the levels. Love these headphones!!! Better than Bose
After reading review after review, I found these for a great price... win/win! Went on a few flights with these and it melted all noise away and the cord to connect to wired allowed me hear the movie, music, or silence comfortably. I use them on a daily basis at work to take conference calls or listen to music without disturbing those around me. The case makes it easy to carry around.
