A good easy to use product
The item was plugged into a Windows 11 computer and worked as expected without any problems at all. I checked on the Hitachi Website to see if it was Windows 11 compatible before purchase. It does not state on the packaging it is Windows 11 compatible but it clearly is. It is easy to use and fairly fast at putting complex spreadsheets on a CD-RW. I have not bought it or used it for other uses so I do not know what it is like for transferring photographs etc.

DVD writer/player.
This product is well made, of good appearance and works well with my new Dell. Good software on CD bundled with it! Respected manufacturer. Will also work with some TV's directly. Compatible with this new fangled M-DISC for 1000 year storage. Might not live for quite that amount of time :-) I recommend it, though you can buy much cheaper ones, but not from Hitachi-LG I suspect.
