Traveling
I brought my Brother serger home from Montana to Iowa on the train . It held up well. My only suggestion to add to this would be a secure strap that runs the oposite direction than the buckles on each end of the case for security. The weight of the machine makes the sides bow out which could cause the buckles to release. For added security in traveling we made a strap of webbing that went around the case and under the handle that added to the case strength so I could travel with it knowing it was secure. It would not hold up in the baggage care but I don't think that is its intended use. I will be storing the machine in it to help protect it from dust and dirt. Brother Sewing Machine Case 5300
Not as roomy as others stated. My Brother Quilting Machine just fits. Quality is OK. Plastic is much thinner than expected. It will do the job since it will not be moved around too much. I do not trust the handle so I lift it from the bottom. If you had plans of taking your machine "on the go" I would recommend looking for something else. Lovely sewing machine
I live this machine and it is remarkably easy to use in most applications. Super lightweight is it easily carried. It sometimes moves around too easily and it might be better to be a bit heavier for that reason. I bought a different carrying case with a latch though. Wonderful Sewing machine Case for an Amazing Price!!!
This is an amazing case for the price we'll made and super durable! I bought it for Mt Brother project runway machine! It fits great and with enough room that u can also store the cords and foot pedal in there safely as well! Not to mention super fast shipping! I definitely recommend this to everyone lookin. Lightweight and yet sturdy
Currently own 3 of these carrying cases. This case is the most dependable I have ever owned. The walls of the case are sturdy and the clasps on each side stay closed when carrying equipment such as my heavy sewing machine or my lightweight surger and all the odds and ends I use with the machines. Universal Case is Well worth the price!
I purchased this case for a new Brother sewing machine. It was a little large for the machine and it seemed that the case would not be sturdy enough to keep the machine from sliding around. I was wrong. The case fits all the items needed with the machine including instruction books and it keeps the machine securely fastened to the teeth on the bottom. Good sturdy case

Lightweight & spacious
It suits me very well. A little disappointed in the handle set up as I was looking for a solid piece. My previous cover didn't have a handle just an open space for the sewing machine handle to come through. I have cats who spray and they have ruined 3 machines so far. This one has "dangerous" spaces where the handle connects so I have to keep a box over it so no spray can get inside.
