Cracked Sump !
So when a stone hit the sump on my Transit, i was quite surprised that it had actually punctured it. But, Transit sump's are notorious for leaking and going porus. On to Transit parts and the new one arrives, simple fit, good quality gasket with it too. 45 mins later van back on the road and no leaks at all. Replacement of sump
Ordered new sump off tpuk delivered next day. Fitted with paper gasket but weeping oil out of gasket.emailed about problem and they sent out a better quality cork/ paper replacement next day its now fitted with no oil leaks.Delighted to bits with it.
