Excellent Pedometer - Quite Accurate & Convenient for the Money!!!
This Pedometer is a very accurate and convenient tool for keeping track of your daily step count. It is small and can be carried in your pocket or clipped to a belt or just clipped to the waist of your pants or shorts. It's small enough that it could even be clipped to the top of snug fitting athletic socks. It starts counting your steps after you have been walking for at least 4 seconds and is really an invaluable tool for those who want to keep track of their daily steps. Be careful though, you might really come to depend on it. If it were to somehow get lost, some people do find this situation to be quite stressful. It happened to my wife and I really felt so sorry for her that I quickly ordered another one since she liked it so much. Then 2 days later she found her original one so I inherited it and she kept the new one. It kind of grows on you and has a tendency to make a person push themselves a little more each day. This can be great as a motivator but remember to not push yourself too far...too fast...or you will pay for it with some very sore muscles and joints. Remember "Everything in Moderation" when you are just starting out on a new routine. Very unreliable, and inaccurate,
It is constantly between 2000 and 5000 steps behiind my old counter when they are both in the same pocket. My old counter requires 10 steps before it counts, this one requires 4 seconds, so it should count more than my old one. With my wife's counter in the same pocket it is still way behind. It is very erratic in the way it counts. Way to unreliable and inaccurate for me. It is very easy to use, light and easy to carry in your pocket.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Excellent Moderately Priced Unit.
This is a basic unit which measures steps, distance, and calories burned. It does not interface to a laptop as it is not usb capable. The data is stored into memory every day at midnight and is retrievable; resets to zero weekly. Omron is a highly rated brand and this is a unit I am very happy with. Unit equipped with a belt clip. Best pedometer i have ever owned hands down
This little gizmo is fantastic. It is super accurate. The best feature it works if you keep it in your pocket like change. it was a hassle on all the other pedometers to keep them level with the ground hanging on your belt. Very practical-easy to use
This is exactly what I require to keep me honest about my walking and I like that it automatically stores 7 days data for easy reference. The clip is very sturdy. Does everything that it's supposed to!!!
First question - why would I buy this when almost every smart phone has an app that does the same thing? Simply, for some reason, my phone goes to 'sleep' as I'm walking and the app quits working. That's BS... Anyway, this little pedometer(approx 2.5" x 1" x really thin) fits in your pocket, or you can use the included belt clip which works great on walks/hikes. Just be careful when you sit...depending on where you clip on your belt (as with anything clipped on a belt), it can come off. Mine did in my car...twice. Now I just pocket the darn thing ;-) Easily programmable with time functions, height, weight, and stride length (for estimated caloric burn, walking distance and such). And, get this, it is very accurate. We have checked this against known walking distances and it's 'right on'...every time. Heck, we even got a second one and both are accurate together too. Great pedometer especially for slow walkers
Alas, I don't believe Omron makes this particular model anymore and feedback online about more recent models isn't as positive, particularly when it comes to slower walkers and accuracy. This is why I looked to eBay for a replacement. However, I have used this model for years and particularly like that it also records aerobic steps (continued walking for 10+ minutes) as I like to devote a portion of my steps to that factor. It also holds memory for 7 days if you're keeping account over the long term. The only slight beef I have about this model is that in order to save battery time, the data are not visible unless you press a button. But that's not a big deal.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works well - has the simple features we use with no learning curve. Resets automatically by itself each night. Just put it on and hit any button to read your steps. Simple calibration procedure.
