This product 'looks' OK but:- The casting has a poor quality finish (quite rough). The mounting holes through the casting are not at right angles to the axis of the cylinder. The mounting hole in the ram is under size preventing a 16 mm pin from being inserted. The paint is poorly adhered to the ‘barrel of the jack. For the money I don't think you'll find anything better than this ram. Easily lifted a big v6 engine and gearbox and has good control when lowering. Speed of lift is fine. The Hydraulic piston on my small Clarke engine crane was leaking so badly that it was unusable. Parts and seals are no longer obtainable. This 8 ton Long Ram Hydraulic Jack was a prefect replacement.
