Great value, however.....
First thing to note is that for a 55" screen the price is low so don't expect a super-wide angle viewable screen, it's not bad but ideally you want to be sat fairly central to the screen. If you're in the optimum position then the image is nice, it's a backlit screen so you're always aware the blacks aren't quite as black as they could be. It responds to ambient light well so you watch a movie in the dark you don't need to adjust the contrast from when you were watching during the day. The sound is OK, but you'll really want to be using an external surround system. Connectivity is decently supported, the built in Firefox OS is nice. It has Netflix bundled but TBH it's not great as it has some weird smoothing algorithm running that you can't disable which makes everything look a bit artificial, so skip that. Regular SD TV looks good. If you do have a 4K source (ideally 4kBD as it has the bandwidth) then it's really quite special. In short if you want a solid 55" LED TV then this one will be hard to beat for the price, but be aware that it wasn't long ago you'd be paying over twice this much for a screen that size so be aware there are a few compromises.
