    Decent, powerful pump.

At last, a half decent pump that is capable of inflating land rover tyres from flat in just a couple of minutes. The facility to use mains power as well as 12v is a great feature. The air connection hose is a bit on the short side but its manageable & it would benefit from a dedicated stowage for the mains lead and a handle on the storage bag. It is also capable of pressure checking the new central heating installation I'm installing, taking the whole system up to a couple of bar without much effort. How long it lasts remains to be seen but so far so good, bit pricy but its streets ahead of other pumps I have tried. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

    Power cord fitting

Pushed the power cord in as I did so the holder just pushed inside. After looking inside it was only held in buy 2 small screws so had to get ones a bit stronger. The pressure gauge was not giving a correct reading but was ok if you set it 2lbs above what you want. Then things seem OK. But I can work with it till the next problem crops up. But we will see.

  • It pumped up the tyres but not sure how many uses I’ll get out of it before something breaks.

The unit supplied to me pumped up the tyres on my car efficiently and effectively. The ability to power the unit from the mains is great for my need (my car doesn’t have a power socket). However, this unit has a brittle plastic casing; the item delivered was already cracked across the front where the light is; I don’t think the unit will be very robust. The pressure release valve is loose, cannot be tightened as spring operates, and leaks air; a good idea, but counter productive. Lastly the plastic on/off selector switch to operate the pump has a poor connection and I believe that this will be the point of failure after a few uses.

  • Fit for purpose and a happy customer

Searched for a MAINS powered tyre inflator with “pressure cut off” when it reached the pre-set pressure for my two cars. The battery operated units were not suitable..This unit is perfect for the job with a fast time to reach the correct tyre pressure so the units motor can handle the inflating quite easily..The hose attachment which screws onto the tyre attachment is the only part which is a little fiddly but only a minor issue.. Overall a good buy which saves any further trips to the service station to check tyre pressures

  • Disapointing .

The light doesn't work , the air hose attachment that screws onto the tyre valve doesn't seem to be the right thread or thread not cut properly . It takes so long to get the attachment off of the valve you have lost more air than you put in . Have had to buy a proper one to fit . The two halves of the cheap plastic thing not even done up properly . On the plus side it does pump a descent amount of air . Like most cheap plasticy rubbish these days .

  • Good combination and fast.

The device works as intended with auto cutoff being effective. It is a relatively compact inflator with the versatility of working in the garage or at the roadside. The only downside I have noted is with the connector. That is because the hose screws onto the tyre valve rather than using a fast-release clipping action. There is a tendency to lose some air pressure whilst disconnecting and the bleed valve isn't too sturdy either. If you suffer from arthritis the screwing on and off can take a little longer than desirable. Add a pound to the pressure in this case!

  • An automatic inflator that works

Being automatic it is easy to use in a small garage but the mains lead is on the short size and even with an a/c supply at each end of my garage, I still need to use an extension lead.

  • Pumped-up

Just wanted a tyre inflator that worked off mains electricity. This did the job. There is a more up-to-date model but unavailable. RING products have good reputation

  • Dual power

It's a great tyre pump, really fast and quiet. Best thing is I can plug it into the car (12 volt) or plug into the mains (230 volt) if I'm in the garage
