Easy to use and does what it promises
Easy to use - although handle may be big for some. I have arthritis so no need to hold two objects to blow dry my hair - less pain! Prevents frizz and static so great for my fine hair. I bought this after a lot of research and now after almost a year of use I can say it's only ok. It has 2 speeds of brush rotation but I think 700w is not enough power for a great blow dry. The bristles are far too soft to get that sleek brushed out look. It takes a lot of practice to figure out how to get the best possible results, which seems strange because this purchase is supposed to make blow dries a lot easier right off the bat. Best hairstyler ever!
I have fine, wavy, hair but lots of it, so I've used nearly every hot brush invented over the years. But it's always been a 2 step process - dry hair first then use hot brush/ceramic brush. I've always got a good result but this Babyliss duo hot styler makes such a better job of it, and so much quicker! My hair is shoulder length with layers so the smaller brush is ideal, but I'm growing it so the larger one will be used when it's longer. It is so easy to use (after a little practice) just remember that if you switch hands, the controls are reversed, up becomes down and vice - versa. I curl my sections both ways, up and under, so that I get a nice choppy effect when done. It leaves a lovely shine on my hair and looks like I've just left the salon! Another great thing - I suffer with a sweaty head in the hot weather and my hair starts to curl! But I used this on the cooler setting (2) on my mostly dry hair and it smoothed out all the curls, dried off the underneath and was back to looking perfect in just 3 mins. without making my head hot again!! Fantastic product!!
It is best to use on almost dry/damp hair. End up with lovely curls, easy to use (I watched a video on Youtube before buying it to see how you use it!!). Also great to use if hair a bit wild in the morning before stepping out of the door. I have fine hair with a slight curl and end up with beautiful sleek looking waves using this this brush. Brilliant hairdryer, better than Dyson.
This is a fantastic product. Depending on how you use it. If you have the rotating brush on it smooths hair and lifts roots and you only need one had to use it. Wish I'd bought one years ago
I used to be quite high maintenance on the appearance front. Full face of make-up, carefully groomed hair. And then life got in the way and I found myself doing a job where styled hair and make-up weren't going to work. Now in my mid-forties with fibromyalgia and arthritis, but time to spend on little things that boost my morale, I can't do a proper blow dry any more. A friend suggested I have a look at this, because it does everything I need, quickly. I was a little sceptical, because I've had friends who didn't get on with it at all, but I have poker straight, fine hair and thought it worth a try. And worth learning how to make it work for me, if it came to that. I'm so glad I bought this. Getting my hair looking good takes just a few minutes after washing, and it also works to refresh a do in between washes, which was an unexpected bonus. If you've not been in the position of being physically very weak and having everything you do hurt, you perhaps won't realise just how lovely it is to be able to do this one, simple thing again. But trust me when I say that in one small device I've managed to start feeling more positive. Great hair styler
This is a great product for styling your hair. Just remember to use it on partly dry hair rather than when it's just been washed. The smaller barrel brush, for fringes or shorter hair comes in handy. It may take a while to get used to it for some, but I got on great after the first use. Saves having to hold a hairdryer and brush at the same time. This is fantastic, so easy to use to give volume, straighten or curl hair. (I checked out YouTube for tips on how to use well.) It didn't tangle my hair up (I was half expecting it to! Lol).
