Great for Syrian hamster
Considering the fact that this particular item retails at £70, it is not worth that money. The accessories are too small and to flimsy, and the base is not very sturdy. However, as I paid only £36, that's more acceptable as I had to invest in a better and bigger wheel as well as wooden house and a ceramic bowl. The wheel provided is too small for Syrian hamster, his back was arching too much, poor sod, but he's happy now. The cage itself is sturdy once constructed, even though one of the top cover clips snapped, probably during delivery. Still it does not make any difference. It's got plenty of space for hanging accessories and running about. Overall much better than some I've seen and spacious enough for Maxy to run about. Amazing!!
I love this cage & so does my hamster! I love the way it looks. It was so easy to put together, it literally took me 10minutes. The only fault with this cage is that the plastic is a little bit flimsy, it’s not the best quality. Also the side clips, do not actually clip onto the side of the cage. Also the accessories it comes with I will not be using because they are too small for a Syrian hamster.

This cage range is fantastic, I bought this cage for 4 spiny mice and its perfect. Great space strong quality with narrow bars and plenty of space for toys etc. Well worth the money. My Syrian hamster is almost if not completely blind so I cant use the second level, so I didn't put it in but he has plenty room to roam and burrow and he seems content. he is nine months old an hope to have him for a long time yet. Lovely cage
Purchased this cage as an upgrade for my daughter's syrian hamster. Replaced the wheel as to small and will be replacing the house. The cage is lovely and spacious and deep enough for lots of sawdust. The cage was easy to put together. The only flaw I will say is the side clips are flimsy and don't fit on tightly. Other than that a great cage but not worth more than £40.

Too small for rats and fiddly to assemble but good for transport
Does the job I bought it for, which is fold down smaller than my main rat cage for easier transport as it can be disassembled so I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend this for anybody needing to travel with a pet for a short amount of time. However, I would say this cage is too small for rats as a long term home and should not be listed as a rat cage - it is only suitable for short term or temporary housing for rats. There is space for 1 rat but as rats should not be kept alone this is unsuitable. Additionally all of the accessories (house, wheel and food bowl) are too small for a rat. Gerbils Love It
Nice big and spacious, the gerbils love it, high sides keeps there digging efforts contained and gives them loads of floor area to explore, homes - the nest is nicely tucked away under the solid shelf. Great product in itself but extras very poor.
The cage itself is very good and great value but considering it was advertised as suitable for rats the extras provided are far too small for rats and only suitable for hamsters or smaller pets. I was also surprised that a water bottle was not included?Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Hamster Cage
Really happy with my purchase very quick delivery & got it at a great price very easy to assemble my little dwarf hamster is very happy with all the room. However I would not recommend this cage for rats as it is not big enough I think it would be suitable for a Syrian hamster but you would need to purchase a much larger wheel & house as what are supplied are too small I would recommend a Lilyput free standing drinking bottle for a dwarf & a larger bottle for a Syrian All in all very happy as I already had all the accessories required & at this price it's a great buy. As the higher level is wooden as is the ladder I would suggest you treat it with Plastikote before putting your hamster in as once it has been urinated on it will stain easily and smellVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
