URISTAT (UTI) by Monistat
I used to use AZO when I had an UTI - they changed the formula and added Nsaids. I can't take Nsaids. It stopped working. Wasn't helping with the burning or pain. Started using this brand and immediately the pain and burning was gone. Got antibiotics from my dr and they take a few days to help. Happy with this product. It was the first time that a medicine gave me relief so fast. Those who have had UTI issues know how painful it is. I do drink cranberry juice. Mine isnt uti i have kidney issues. So my friend gave me some of her Uristat to try and immediately it stopped the burning and pain. It's made by the makers of Monistat which is another brand I love to use. Very happy with Uristat. Gives relief for IC Flare-up
I have had Interstitial Cystitis for nearly 10 years and tried several prescriptions which worked but at this time my insurance no longer covers prescriptions due to the affordable care act. I did some research for over the counter medicine to help with my flareups due to IC. Uristat works for me and eases it up as I go through the pain. I don't think anything takes all the pain but it is good to know that there is something out there that will help you along the way. I would recommend this product for anyone that has IC.
