Timex Expedition; Excellent Watch
These are excellent watches, and I am very fond of them. I have one attached to my motorcycle gloves using a "NATO" Army watch strap, and it works in all weathers. The light feature is useful when camping, or in the still small hours when you want to check the time without disturbing your partner. I have one I use for my work, where their is a strong chance a lesser watch would be damaged. Had one strap fail at the clasp, but as I have already said, a NATO straps is an easy resolution. I have friends who delight in showing off expensive watches, these Timex Expedition timepieces are the perfect antidote. All in all, a very cool inexpensive Watch.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Simple rugged watch for work.
Good basic watch; direct replacement for same model. Last one well-travelled, gave 19 years sterling service needing nothing more than replacement batteries and straps. Cracking watch for the money. Seems ruggedly made enough for most conditions. Very easy to read face and the "indiglo" feature is excellent. No idea on longevity at this stage but impressive first impressions for the money.

Nice beater watch, terrible strap
This is a good buy. The watch itself looks nice and seems sturdy. Indiglo is great. However, the strap is extremely stiff and very uncomfortable. Great bargain
Does everything it says on the tin. Keeps great time. The back-light works great. The glass is hard to scratch. I've have yet to make one, and i'm fixing Land Rovers! The casing is plastic. Arrived with a dead battery (5 minutes to fix) but otherwise excellent
Just be aware that this is a discontinued model and you are buying old stock but it's an excellent watch. I bought this to replace one that had survived 30 years hard use including four wars, temps from -15C to 50C+, swimming, snorkelling and on a few occasions accidentally being taken scuba diving. My old watch had out-lasted several 'replacements' including two very expensive dive watches. It's basic, rugged and easy to look after.
