Best sink strainer purchased ever, to date...tried stainless steel screen, perforated disk, etc when these catch hair...they plug the drain and the water starts to pool...fill the sink.... It really works. Hair is caught and water keeps draining at full volume...no pooling of water in the sink... The tub shroom works great too. The kitchen shroom is really good...catches all food scraps while water drains at full volume....no other sink strainer in my life has work this good

Poor design
I was expecting this to be more ridged in construction. It is flimsy and I feel that the drain holes in it are too small. I had to modify it myself so that it would even work a little...any little bit of hair/lint etc that gets caught by this instantly clogs it, which in turn no longer allows water to drain while showering, so not really sure what “awards” the product has won. The only positive related to it is that it looks ok. Got mine in fo-chrome. Ultimately, I would advise to consider other options before buying.

Good idea, bad implementation
I cleaned the drain before I started using this. The shroom makes the water drain so slow that water stands in the sink if you have the faucet running for any length of time. It also is easily knocked out of place, which then everything goes down the drain.

No more clogs
Recently I had been noticing that my sink was backing up. So I took the stopper out and found that I had hair buildup. I had previously purchased a shroom for my tub and loved it so I bought this one for my sink. Love this product as it keeps my sink and tub from getting clogged by hair.

Open bathroom drain ...

Sinkshroom not as good as tubshroom
The tubshroom worked great, so I had high hopes for the sinkshroom. Unfortunately, water just pools in the sink and takes a while to go down. There are no clogs and it drains just fine without it.
