Trend router plate drawbacks
Don't buy this if you think it will immediately accept your Trend router - my mistake but not clear when selecting it. It is just a generic router plate. In retrospect I would have purchased a generic aluminium plate with a flat top not a '0.8mm crown' as it says on the Trend packaging. Can't help thinking that is trying to make a plus out of a moulding error. It is made of Phenolic BTW.

Poor the quality is for the price.
I got a good price on eBay but the product is another example of how poor Trend equipment is. My router is a 110v trend and I've already had to fix internal wiring after minimal use. Now I've bought a good solid router plate which is bowed upwards far more than it should be. It is useable and now I've drilled it for my router I will keep it, but apart from cutters, I won't buy Trend again
