    Handle with care it is a well tuned instrument, not a toy at all.

    This Radio receiver is among the very best. Not for high quality sound, but for excellent sensitivity and intellibility. From the specifications it will receive signals that other can not find. Do not use Switching Wall Supplies with it because that will eliminate reception of signals between 30kHz and 3MHz. I use either 12V rechargeable battery or linear power supplies with it. Mine came with a switching wall supply that rendered the lower portion of the spectrum with interference. Hans j Weedon
