Great paint for small jobs
As other products say "it does what it says on the tin" However this sadly is the only size they make which means if you run out with only a part to finish you have to buy another and 250mls doesnt go very far, so be careful to calculate if it is a small job, medium or large.If its large find another product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Truly awful paint, worst I've used.
This paint is possibly the worst paint I have ever used. Needed small amount of gloss paint for part of an exterior window frame. Having no faith in water-based paint for exterior work I looked for an oil-bound paint, and regretfully chose Rustins Quick Dry Small Job. Didn’t realize it was a solvent based (should have read more closely), alarm bells should have rung when the directions said ‘APPLY LIBERALLY’. The paint is so thin that it needed 5 coats to cover the undercoat, whereas most oil-bound gloss will cover in 2, the reason for ‘apply liberally’ is because if you don’t, it will not cover. Oil bound gloss will allow the flow of paint to be brushed out smoothly, and because of slower drying time the brushstrokes have time to disappear and leave a smooth finish. It may be ‘fast drying’ but having to apply five coats is no advantage, plus the finish is extremely poor. You may think that my knowledge of paint may be limited, however I’ve been using paint since 1957 when starting as an apprentice painter & decorator.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
