It was smaller and had less depth than I expected but it is only for outside to scrap mud. However, my fault, the door it is to go outside of is the door with cat flap, and our poor old cat can not put her paws on this, obviously too painful. This product is strong and sturdy. I have 2 of these, one by the front door and one by the back door. I have placed rubber mats under the steel boot scraper. This collects all the mud and dirt.
