Ups and Downs of a Hospital Bedside Table
We can think of many uses for this rolling (bedside) table. The tray easily goes up and/or down with just a quick touch. I couldn't detect a difference in quality even though many similar tables were much more expensive. Only complaint is during the construction of the table. It was not clear which way the (up/down) lever was to be attached. Since I got it reversed the first time, the table only went up....not down. Just took another 10 minutes to correct. Very Useful in many ways
My mom was wanting a hospital table , I let her look at the different ones and she chose this one . I purchased it and assembled it - she was a little dissapointed because it didn't tilt - but she chose it . It is a really sturdy made product , versatile , easy to change the height , rolls smoothly on bare or carpet floors , and 2 rollers have a lock to stay in place. Easy to clean . Can be useful for many things - laptops , homework , paperwork , crafts , eating any meals , in bed for being sick , so many uses . I would highly reccomend this product to anyone ! This is a nice table. It is a very sturdy for home use. I use it for my laptop at home. I took off the rollers so is would fit under my chair at home. It extends pretty high. I like that it is fairly easy to raise and lower to the desired height without the use of knobs or bolts. Press the lever and raise it up with spring loaded action. Good value for the money
This is not Swiss engineering, folks. Plastic casters, particle board top, slightly wonky construction. But check the price for a true hospital-grade overbed table, and look in your wallet for a couple of Benjamins.... Which is what I did before I purchased this one for my bedridden mom. Assembly was a bit of a challenge, because the enclosed instructions are clearly intended for a different model, but I put it together successfully with basic hand tools in about ten minutes on the very first try. I'm only giving it four stars because four and three-quarters isn't an available option. Overall, I'm very happy with this product. It's not designed for table dancing, but is actually quite sturdy, certainly strong enough to support a place setting with a meal and a beverage. In my house, it will do double duty, as I can use it for my laptop computer when Mom is asleep. I assembled this on my own also I have them. Vision. That should say something. My only challenge was the setscrew which is only in place for shipping was a little difficult to remove. Good, but needs some improvement
