    Easy Heat EH38, does what it's supposed to.

    I have a deep well as a water supply for my home. I installed this in my pump house to activate the devices I have always switched on and off manually to avoid frozen pipes. This makes it super easy, when it gets colder than 38 degrees all the devices are receive power and become active. I added a light to give me an indicator that everything is on. Now I can just look out the window for the light and I don't have to go out in the cold to switch it all on.

    Debateable!

    If this had worked right would have been exactly what I needed. Plugged in on porch with thermostat, temp 35 degrees, light turned on after cooled down. Then it warmed up and turned off, would not turn on even though 35 degrees. Put in freezer and started working when took out and has been working ever since. Want to use with heat tape on water pipes, not confident that it will work?

    Thermostat for electrical appliance

    Works well. Has relatively high wattage capacity, will handle a 1500 watt electrical heater. Turns on power when temp drops to 38 and off again when it rises. Will save water pipes, water well equipment, various other cold sensitive things when coupled with an electric heater, heat lamp, or other heating device.

    Performed as advertised.

    I tested the regulator in my freezer for 20 minutes, hooked up a light bulb and it lite up as expected. After warming up, the regulator shut off the light bulb as expected. I hooked up the regulator to a heat lamp in my well pump house and it works as expected. Shuts off at about 50 degrees outside. Works as expected. I hope it last a long time. Saves on heat lamp bulbs!

    I use this item to control a heat lamp in an enclosed area. It controls the lamp as it would a cable Much less expensive than one of those 'wall mounted' thermostats, even if you could find one that turns your heater on at 35 (aprox). and off at 45 (aprox).

    Great no hassle product

    Inexpensive, and let's you not have to worry about plugging heat tape in every winter and unplugging after winter every year. Old one was dated 2003 and quit working so I replaced with a new one. Recommend
