    A decent little browser

I read the reviews on this; top heavy, a gap in the shelf which allows prints to slide through, not big enough, dubious build quality, etc...and I have to say that all of this is true. HOWEVER, it is perfectly suitable and man enough to be used as a browser for smallish prints at an art fair, or as a permanent browser. OK...don't over fill it or overload it, and use decent sleeves to hold your prints, but for me, as an artist selling prints normally around the A3 size, it is absolutely perfect. I guess it depends how much you pay for it; I paid £31.99 including shipping & I think that is an absolute bargain. So, buying for the purpose I had in mind, this suits me perfectly.

  • Most critical review

    inadequacies solved

The woodwork and its finish is fine. The two flimsy hinges were not placed correctly and did not allow full opening to design. The gap between the two halves allows contents to fall through. I have replaced the hinges with a full length piano hinge - but at a cost of half of the original for the whole unit - which solved both issues. This should not have been necessary.in adequacies

  • Great print browser at a great price

Good solid browser. Only negative is it doesn’t have a flat bit for prints to test on - easy enough to slot something in if needed. Good size - easily takes A3 sized prints. Really good value and delivered promptly and well boxed.

  • Good value and well made

I have been looking for one of these display browsers for a while and as it is something I only use once or twice a year I didn't want to spend a small fortune on. I was very pleased with the product - it is well made and finished an can hold a surprisingly large amount of prints, at a height that is easy to look through.

  • Nice wooden art print rack

I am very happy receiving this item. Can't wait to use it as my print display on art fairs. Beautiful and simple, easy to store. Very quick delivery.

  • A nice sturdy structure

Its sturdier than I expected. Its a lighter colour than it looks on the photo. Darker would have matched my room better but its not a crisis. Also there are gaps on each side of the slat that the prints rest on so the prints slip through if you don't position them properly. However, its still a good buy and does the job. I particularly like the sturdiness of it which I didn't expect for the price.

  • Small irritating flaw.

This product does the job, it looks well albeit a bit too low for browsing. There is a flaw with it. There is a small gap to one side of the base and prints tend to slip through it. I had to tape it closed. I might make it more attractive by putting a length of rope in the gap.

  • Wooden print browser

Excellent value for money and of very good quality. Holds many prints because of its special design and is very stable. Nicely finished yet compact when not in use. Very pleased with purchase..

  • Eh.

It's okay, but there's a massive gap I had to sellotape up so the prints didn't fall through. Not particularly well made. Also really light and super top heavy, so will fall over if you put anything over A3 in it. Not super impressed tbh. Not really fir for purpose but can't afford anything else, so get what you pay for I guess. (although I got this over a cheaper one because it had better reviews, should have saved the tenner)

  • Disappointing

I have ten browsers in my gallery and this one is not fit for purpose. No gusset at the base of the top section means that prints sit on just two wooden struts with the potential to damage the mount board and very little space for multiple prints. Also very unstable and sits with legs too wide which makes the whole thing sit close to the ground. Buy a better one for the extra two pounds or all all you have is something to dry your socks on
