Excellent in all respects
This is an excellent piece of kit. Very well made and makes a very good job of any planing. The design makes it easy to use. I previously had one of the cheaper Bosch planers. Bosch quality
I mostly buy Bosch mid-range, as I find it very good quality for the DIY enthusiast who doesn't warrant enough use for expenditure of top-end professional products. This planer (as with most Bosch tools) comes in it's own robust box, although is a little tricky to locate the planer back in position, so take note of how it sits when you first remove it. The planer runs very smooth and does an excellent job & the dust bag "switch side" option is handy & works well.
