Expensive but good, and invisible
I use this nail strengthener as I play the guitar. As a matt finish it's hardly noticeable so works very well, especially if you're a bloke who doesn't want to be seen wearing nail varnish! Takes about a month to get strong nails, and you need to file and shape your nails so you don't get any breaks. After six weeks or so you have perfect nails for guitar playing. If you're a lady I expect this would also work well for you, but they do a gloss version which I'm sure is just as good too. It's great that OPI offer a matt finish as I couldn't find any other nail strengthener that wasn't glossy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Disappointing.
I thought I would spend a bit extra in the hope that this would be tough and ling lasting on my nails. As it has formaldehyde in it which can irritate skin I followed the instructions to put grease or oil on the cuticles to protect them. However aftr about 12 hours it all began to peel off when It should last several days. I wrote to the seller who said nails should be free of grease etc. The actual nails were. The best nail strengthener ever!!!!!
I have bitten my nails for over 28 years and with one application my nails actually grew within a week and they are stronger than expected. After a month of use i actually use a nail cutter to cut them. I only need one application per week and that's after washing the dishes without gloves and working in a primary school where I am constantly washing my hands. Its also great as a based coat, especially with darker colours that used to stain my nails with other base coats. Repaired my soft flaky nails. Brilliant!
I was using Nailtiques 2 until Cosmo reviewed it and the price went up 100%. Then tried Sally Hansen Hard as Nails which was OK but more than 2 coats and it chips and peels. This is my first purchase of OPI and I can say it will not be the last. My nails feel strong and the finish is more like a sheen than a gloss. I love it and can't recommend it enough. I don't wear gloves for gardening or housework (don't say anything).

Good stuff
I was having problems with my nails... they had become very soft and were breaking and splitting. Someone recommended that I give this a go. I've been using it for two weeks and the improvement is fantastic. My nail strength has improved dramatically. You do have to follow the instructions though. Excellent product. I ran out of this and all my nails split and broke. Tried a cheaper product that didn't really work for me. I've only been using this for a couple of weeks and already my nails are stronger, longer and in better condition. Just have to remember to use it as per instructions. 2 coats on clean nails, then one coat every 2 days. After a week, remove and repeat.
